Day 01: PHNOM PENH

• Arrive in Phnom Penh and attend the welcome meeting at 06:00 p.m., where you’ll meet your leader and fellow travellers.

• Highlight: Begin this women-only journey with an included welcome dinner at Sombok Restaurant, led by chef Kimsan Pol and her all-women team.

• If arriving early, you may independently explore Central Market for traditional handicrafts and local food.

• A complimentary arrival airport transfer is included for Day 1 arrivals, subject to the required advance flight-information conditions.

Day 02: PHNOM PENH

• Visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, formerly known as S-21, accompanied by a female guide.

• Continue to the Choeung Ek Killing Fields, where your guide provides further historical context about the events of the late 1970s.

• Highlight: Gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s recent history through stories and experiences that specifically highlight women.

• These sites deal with confronting historical events, and travellers who prefer not to participate can discuss alternatives with the tour leader.

Day 03: PHNOM PENH

• Join a guided walk through Phnom Penh, beginning with the Royal Palace and its impressive palace complex.

• Visit the Silver Pagoda, home to the Emerald Buddha and a solid-gold Buddha decorated with thousands of diamonds.

• Visit Daughters of Cambodia, a social enterprise supporting women who have survived human trafficking through training and employment.

• Highlight: Enjoy an included hand and foot spa treatment provided by women trained through the Daughters of Cambodia programme.

• In the evening, join an included cocktail and mocktail-making class hosted by Friends-International.

• The spa accommodates four travellers at a time, so waiting may be required depending on group size.

Day 04: SAMBOR PREI KUK, KAMPONG THOM

• Travel towards Sambor Prei Kuk, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological area dating back to the 7th century.

• Stop at Santuk Silk Farm, a social enterprise run by widowed women, and learn about silk production from silkworm cultivation to weaving.

• Enjoy an included home-cooked lunch before continuing to your rural homestay and meeting your host family.

• Explore Sambor Prei Kuk village by bicycle with your leader and visit its ancient temple area.

• Highlight: Experience rural Cambodian life through a multi-share homestay and an included traditional Khmer dinner prepared by your hosts.

• Accommodation is basic, with floor mattresses, mosquito nets and shared bathroom facilities that may include a squat toilet or bucket-style shower.

Day 05: KAMPONG KHLEANG, SIEM REAP

• Travel to Kampong Khleang, a floating village built along Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake.

• Continue to Siem Reap, where your local tuk-tuk transport supports a social enterprise providing employment opportunities for women.

• Highlight: Explore Siem Reap’s food scene on an included evening street-food tour by tuk-tuk with a female driver.

• Sample or discover local Cambodian dishes during the tour as you explore the city streets.

Day 06: SIEM REAP, ANGKOR

• Start early to watch the sunrise over the Angkor temple complex before beginning a full day of exploration.

• Visit Angkor Wat, the largest and best-preserved structure within the famous archaeological complex.

• Continue to the South Gate of Angkor Thom and explore Bayon Temple, known for its towers carved with giant stone faces.

• Walk to the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King as part of your temple exploration.

• Highlight: Explore the Angkor temples by tuk-tuk with a women-supporting social enterprise and take part in a traditional Buddhist monk blessing.

• A one-day Angkor Pass and guided temple tour by tuk-tuk are included.

Day 07: SIEM REAP

• Travel by tuk-tuk to the Rokkhak Women Handicraft Centre and watch local artisans practise traditional weaving.

• Take part in an included water-hyacinth weaving experience and learn more about the centre’s work with women.

• Visit the Cambodia Rural Students Trust and learn about Project G, which provides women’s health education and hygiene solutions to rural girls.

• Help pack hygiene kits as part of the community-led initiative supporting girls in rural Cambodia.

• Highlight: Finish the day with an included farewell dinner at SPOONS Cafe Restaurant, a social enterprise providing hospitality training and employment opportunities to young people.

• If SPOONS is closed for a public or school holiday, an alternative restaurant will be used.

Day 08: SIEM REAP

• Enjoy breakfast before the organised journey comes to an end, with no further scheduled activities included today.

• Highlight: Extend your stay independently to discover more of Siem Reap and the surrounding Angkor region.

• Additional accommodation may be arranged separately for travellers wishing to stay longer.

• Meals: Breakfast.

IMPORTANT TRIP INFORMATION

• Group Size: 1 to 12 travellers.

• Minimum Age: 15 years old.

• Transport: Private vehicle, tuk-tuk and boat.

• Arrival Transfer: Complimentary arrival transfer is included for Day 1 arrivals or eligible pre-tour accommodation, with flight details required at least 14 days in advance.

• Single Supplement: Available subject to availability but does not apply to the shared homestay on Day 4.

• Temple Dress: Clothing should cover shoulders/arms and extend below the knees when visiting temples.

• Historical Sites: Tuol Sleng and Choeung Ek contain confronting material; travellers may discuss alternatives with the leader if they prefer not to participate.

• Angkor Conditions: Walking around Angkor may involve high heat, humidity and limited shade, so hydration and sun protection are important.

• Accommodation Changes: Listed accommodation is a guideline and similar-standard alternatives may be used when necessary.

• Travel Insurance: Compulsory for international travellers, with at least medical expenses and emergency repatriation cover required; specific waiver provisions apply to travellers residing in the EU, Switzerland or USA.
