Day 1: Arrival in Montenegro

Arrive in Montenegro and transfer to your selected coastal hotel. Complete check-in and spend the remainder of the day at leisure along the Adriatic coast.

Day 2: Great Montenegro Tour (Small Group, Max 20)

A full day combining Montenegro's mountain landscapes, cultural heritage and coastal scenery.

• Travel to Lovćen National Park by cable car or the historic mountain road

• Climb approximately 450 steps to the Njegoš Mausoleum, with sweeping views from the top

• Explore Cetinje on foot with an English-speaking guide, the former royal capital of Montenegro

• Stop at Pavlova Strana viewpoint overlooking the River of Crnojevića

• Included boat ride in the Lake Skadar National Park area

• Possible stop at the Sveti Stefan viewpoint before returning to the coast

• Overnight: Kotor, Budva or Tivat

Note: Cable car, entrance fees and meals not included. Njeguši and Sveti Stefan stops are subject to routing, traffic and season.

Day 3: Lake Skadar and Biogradska Gora Tour (Small Group, Max 20)

A full day linking Montenegro's coast, lakes, forest and canyon landscapes.

• Views of Sveti Stefan and the coastline en route

• Stop in Virpazar for breakfast, meals not included

• Included boat ride on Lake Skadar with seasonal birdwatching and possible swimming

• Visit Biogradska Gora National Park for free time around Lake Biograd

• Lunch break at Biogradska Gora, meals not included

• Return through the Morača Canyon with a visit to the historic Morača Monastery

• Overnight: Kotor, Budva or Tivat

Note: National park entrance fees currently EUR 9 in total, cash only. Birdwatching and swimming are seasonal. Coastal traffic may delay the return.

Day 4: Day at Leisure

A free day to recharge between excursions. Relax at your hotel, explore the local area independently or arrange an optional activity at additional cost.

Day 5: North Montenegro Tour (Small Group, Max 20)

A full day journey into Montenegro's mountainous north, covering canyons, national parks and one of the Balkans' most revered spiritual sites.

• Scenic viewpoints near Perast and Risan Bay en route

• Stop at Slano Lake

• Visit the Tara River Bridge and canyon, among the most spectacular landscapes in the country

• Explore Žabljak and walk to Black Lake within Durmitor National Park

• Breakfast and lunch stops along the route, meals not included

• Tour normally concludes with a visit to Ostrog Monastery before a late return to the coast

• Overnight: Kotor, Budva or Tivat

Note: On Saturdays, Ostrog Monastery is replaced by the Durmitor Ring and Trsa route. Optional zipline and Durmitor National Park entrance fee not included.

Day 6: Kotor Bay Cruise (Small Group, Max 30)

A full day on the water exploring the Bay of Kotor by boat, with cultural stops, swimming and coastal scenery throughout.

• Visit Our Lady of the Rocks with entrance to the church and museum included

• Swimming opportunities when sea conditions permit

• Pass Mamula Island and explore the former Yugoslav submarine tunnels

• Stop at Porto Montenegro for free time, meals not included

• Return through the bay with views of its historic shoreline settlements

• Fruit, welcome champagne, water and selected drinks provided onboard

• Outside food and drinks are not permitted on the boat

• Overnight: Kotor, Budva or Tivat

Note: The order of stops may change. Swimming and Blue Cave access depend on sea and weather conditions.

Day 7: Departure

Check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward or return flight.

1. Tara River White-Water Rafting

A full-day rafting adventure on the Tara River, suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters.

• Full-day transport by minibus or minivan

• Professional internationally licensed skipper

2. Montenegro Hiking: Durmitor National Park

A full-day guided hike through Durmitor National Park, with route selection between Prutaš and Crvena Greda based on weather and group dynamics.

Note: Medium to hard difficulty. Medium physical fitness required. Trail is mainly rocky and not recommended for guests with a fear of heights or those with health issues. Bring hiking shoes, backpack, sunscreen, hat, camera, two litres of water, snacks and warm clothing.
