This 8-day Japanese journey begins in Tokyo, where age-old shrines and bustling modern streets set the tone for a cultural adventure. From there, travel to Nikko to admire its UNESCO-listed temples before continuing north through Morioka, Hirosaki, and Sendai. The vibrant port city of Aomori and the scenic beauty of Matsushima Bay highlight Japan’s coastal charm. Crossing to Hokkaido, experience Noboribetsu’s volcanic landscapes, Otaru’s quaint canals, and the contemporary architecture of modern Buddhist temples. The trip concludes in lively Sapporo, blending natural wonders, festive spirit, and cultural treasures into a memorable exploration of Japan.

Day 01: TOKYO
Arrival in Tokyo and transfer to the hotel by shared shuttle bus.
Afternoon at leisure to unwind and explore at your own pace.
Receive detailed information about the start of your tour.
Note: Hotel check-in time is typically in the afternoon
Early check-in can be arranged by booking an extra night.

Day 02: TOKYO
Morning guided tour of Tokyo, visiting Zojoji Temple and capturing views of Tokyo Tower.
Stop at Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Shrine, and explore Omotesando Avenue.
See the Imperial Palace, Nijubashi Bridge, and Akihabara’s Electric Town.
Pass by the Kokugikan sumo arena and visit Asakusa’s Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Evening metro trip to Shinjuku district for dinner at a local restaurant.
Note: For groups under five, the city tour uses a “Hop-On Hop-Off” bus system.
Day 03: TOKYO, NIKKO, SENDAI
Early morning departure to Nikko.
Visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Taiyuinbyo Mausoleum.
Stroll along Kanmangafuchi river area and enjoy free time for lunch.
Afternoon departure for Sendai.
Evening arrival in Sendai with time to explore and dine in the city center.
Day 04: SENDAI, MATSUSHIMA, HIRAIZUMI, MORIOKA
Morning departure to Matsushima for a traditional tea ceremony and a scenic cruise.
Lunch included and departure to Hiraizumi.
Visit Takkoku no Iwaya, Chusonji, and Motsuji Temple for a Zen ceremony.
Afternoon departure to Morioka.
Evening arrival and check-in with free time to explore the city.
Day 05: MORIOKA, HIROSAKI, AOMORI, HAKODATE
Morning departure to Hirosaki to visit its historic castle and park.
Continue to Aomori to explore the Nebuta Museum and enjoy lunch.
Board a ferry across to Hokkaido Island.
Evening arrival in Hakodate with free time to explore the historic center.
Day 06: HAKODATE, ONUMA, NOBORIBETSU, SAPPORO
Morning visit to Hakodate’s bustling fish market and panoramic Goryokaku Tower.
Free time in Onuma’s island-dotted landscapes.
Lunch included at a local restaurant.
Visit the volcanic area of Noboribetsu, including Hell Valley and Lake Oyunuma.
Continue to Sapporo with evening arrival and check-in.
Day 07: SAPPORO, HILL OF BUDDHA, OTARU, SAPPORO
Morning city tour of Sapporo with stops at the Clock Tower and Odori Park.
Visit the Hokkaido Jingu Shrine for a traditional Kito ceremony.
Visit the Hill of Buddha and see the Moai statue replicas.
Afternoon arrival in Otaru with lunch and time to explore the canals and museums.
Return to Sapporo for a free afternoon.
Day 08: SAPPORO
Breakfast at the hotel.
End of the tour with fond memories of Japan’s unique cultural and natural highlights.
