Begin in historic London with its iconic sights before heading north through university cities, medieval towns, and scenic countryside. Discover the magic of Edinburgh, the scenic village of Pitlochry and the Highland city of Inverness, the rugged beauty of the Highlands, and the tranquil shores of Loch Ness. End the trip with unforgettable memories and cultural riches in Glasgow and back in London.

Day 01: LONDON

  • Arrive in London and transfer to your hotel, with free time to relax or begin enjoying the city at your own pace.
    Highlight: A smooth arrival day gives you time to settle in before the tour officially begins.

  • Information about the start of the tour will be provided in the afternoon, either directly or through the hotel reception information board.
    The hotel staff will also be available should you need assistance during your stay.

  • Hotel check-in is usually at 02:00 p.m., so an additional night is recommended if early check-in is required.
    Guests with pre-booked extra nights can use the room upon arrival and meet the guide once scheduled activities begin.

  • Optional activities may be offered during the trip and should be booked early if available.
    Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.

  • The schedule mentioned in the itinerary is indicative and may be adjusted by the guide to improve the overall travel experience.

Day 02: LONDON

  • Begin the morning with a city tour of London, with the itinerary depending on local guides, traffic, and conditions.
    Highlight: See major landmarks including Hyde Park, Oxford Street, the City, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Tower of London.

  • Continue past the Thames, Piccadilly Circus, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace.
    The tour will include a stop at Buckingham Palace to witness the Changing of the Guard, subject to schedule changes.

  • The city tour ends in the city center, followed by free time in the afternoon.
    Optional: Join an excursion to the Thames Valley, including Windsor and its stunning castle, an official residence of the British monarchy.

  • At 06:00 p.m., meet at Piccadilly Circus for a guided walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho.
    Highlight: Enjoy London’s vibrant atmosphere, theaters, entertainment, and lively evening streets.

  • Return to the hotel at around 08:30 p.m.
    Note: In some cases, the evening program may be arranged on the previous day, upon arrival in London.


Day 03: LONDON

  • Enjoy a free day in London to experience the city at your own pace.
    Highlight: A relaxed day allows you to revisit favorite landmarks or enjoy London’s museums, shopping, cafés, and neighborhoods.

  • Spend the day exploring independently, with time to enjoy the moment and appreciate the city’s atmosphere.
    Every corner offers its own character, beauty, and story.

  • You may use this day for personal sightseeing, shopping, dining, or simply relaxing after the previous day’s city tour.
    This is also a good opportunity to enjoy London more comfortably before the journey continues north.

Day 04: LONDON, CAMBRIDGE, YORK, DURHAM

  • Total distance covered: 480 km.
    Scenery: Picturesque countryside with hills, woods, agricultural fields, and historic towns.

  • Depart London at 07:30 a.m. and travel north through the English countryside.
    Highlight: The drive introduces the peaceful rural landscapes of England.

  • Arrive in Cambridge at 10:00 a.m. with time to admire its beautiful university colleges.
    Continue at 12:00 p.m., passing through agricultural fields and the legendary Sherwood Forest, former home of Robin Hood.

  • Stop at a service area for lunch before arriving in York at 03:30 p.m.
    Highlight: See the ancient Roman walls and walk towards the cathedral, with time to enjoy the lively shopping streets.

  • Depart York at 05:30 p.m. and continue north towards Durham.
    Arrive at around 07:30 p.m. in this impressive medieval city.

  • Stroll through Durham’s cobbled streets and admire its cathedral and castle, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
    Overnight in Durham.


Day 05: DURHAM, ALNWICK, EDINBURGH

  • Total distance covered: 230 km.
    Scenery: Beautiful castles and sea views as the route crosses into Scotland.

  • Depart Durham at 08:30 a.m. and travel towards the north of England, skirting the edge of Newcastle.
    The journey continues through scenic countryside towards Alnwick.

  • Arrive in Alnwick at 09:45 a.m., a medieval town dominated by its grand castle and beautiful gardens.
    Highlight: The castle is famously featured in the Harry Potter films.

  • Enjoy free time to visit the castle, admission not included, or stroll around the town.
    Note: Alnwick Castle is closed during winter months from 01 October to 31 March.

  • Depart Alnwick at 11:15 a.m. and cross into Scotland.
    Arrive in Edinburgh at 01:15 p.m., Scotland’s capital and one of Northern Europe’s most vibrant cities.

  • Edinburgh’s monumental center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its castle overlooking steep streets and parks.
    The city is especially lively in summer during the Edinburgh Festival and its many shows.

  • Enjoy free time in Edinburgh before a panoramic city tour with a local guide at around 03:00 p.m.
    Afterwards, transfer to the hotel at around 07:30 p.m.


Day 06: EDINBURGH, PITLOCHRY, INVERNESS, LOCH NESS, GLASGOW

  • Total distance covered: 530 km.
    Scenery: Towering mountains, deep lakes, Highland landscapes, and some of Scotland’s most dramatic views.

  • Depart Edinburgh at 07:30 a.m. and head towards the Northern Highlands, crossing the bridge above River Forth.
    Highlight: Along the way, see the unique Highland Cattle.

  • Arrive in Pitlochry at 09:30 a.m. for a stroll and coffee in this charming Victorian village.
    Depart at 10:00 a.m. and continue through the Eastern Highlands and Cairngorms National Park.

  • Pass through Inverness before arriving at Brachla, Clansman Harbor, at around 01:45 p.m.
    Take time for photos and perhaps spot the legendary Nessie.

  • Around 02:00 p.m., enjoy an included boat trip on Loch Ness.
    Visit Urquhart Castle and explore the ruins of this imposing medieval fortress overlooking the lake, with admission included.

  • Continue at 03:00 p.m., passing lakes, high mountains, Fort Augustus, and Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis.
    Highlight: Enjoy stunning views across Glencoe before reaching the picturesque Loch Lomond.

  • Arrive in Glasgow at around 08:00 p.m.
    Note: Warm clothing is recommended for the boat trip, and timings may change depending on the Loch Ness crossing schedule.

  • Important winter note: From 15 November until the end of February, the itinerary may be adjusted due to shorter days and frequent snow on the roads.
    The winter route includes Pitlochry, a traditional whisky distillery, Stirling Castle, The Kelpies, and arrival in Glasgow around 05:00 p.m.


Day 07: GLASGOW, LICHFIELD, LONDON

  • Total distance covered: 660 km.
    Scenery: Beautiful hills, countryside, green landscapes, and small villages along the route.

  • Depart Glasgow at 07:30 a.m. and travel south through Scotland and England.
    Highlight: The route offers pleasant countryside views throughout the journey.

  • Stop in Lichfield for a walk and lunch in this picturesque historic town.
    Highlight: Lichfield is known for its cathedral with three towers topped by spires.

  • Enjoy time in the charming historic center, with cobbled streets and beautiful old buildings.
    Continue the journey south after the visit.

  • Arrive in London at around 07:00 p.m. at the end of the day.
    The evening is free after arrival.

  • Note: If the number of travelers on this stage is very small, the journey may be done by train or plane without a guide.
    In this case, the stop in Lichfield will be skipped, and luggage will be the traveler’s responsibility, with a standard limit of 20 kg.


Day 08: LONDON

  • After breakfast, the journey comes to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
    Highlight: A relaxed final morning allows you to prepare for departure at your own pace.

  • Hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m.
    You may leave your luggage at reception after check-out and retrieve it later in the day.

  • Use any remaining free time to enjoy London without carrying your bags.
    This is helpful for guests with later flights or onward travel plans.

  • If you require additional time to use your room, booking an extra night at the end of the tour is recommended.
