Chase Scandinavia’s winter magic on a 9-day journey from Helsinki to Stockholm across Finnish and Swedish Lapland. Begin with a guided tour of design-forward Helsinki, then fly north to Saariselkä for Arctic days filled with optional snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and Aurora hunts. Visit Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi and meet reindeer, then cross into Sweden to stroll UNESCO-listed Gammelstad and continue to Luleå. Delve into Sámi culture in Jokkmokk, dine traditionally in a lavvu near Kiruna, and (optionally) mush huskies or toast at the world-famous Ice Hotel. Conclude in Stockholm with an Old Town walk and a visit to City Hall.

Day 01: HELSINKI
Arrival transfer to the hotel (airport departures at 11:30 and 15:00).
Meet your Local Specialist for a Helsinki city sightseeing tour.

Day 02: HELSINKI, IVALO, SAARISELKÄ
Flight from Helsinki to Ivalo, crossing into the Arctic Circle.
Short drive to the snowy village of Saariselkä; check in for two nights.

Day 03: SAARISELKÄ

Day 04: SAARISELKÄ, ROVANIEMI
Travel to Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus.
Dive Into Culture: Visit Santa’s post office and share yuletide greetings.
Visit a reindeer farm and meet Santa’s traditional sleigh-pullers.

Day 05: ROVANIEMI, GAMMELSTAD, LULEÅ
Cross into Sweden and continue to the UNESCO-listed church town of Gammelstad.

Proceed to Luleå, the largest city in Swedish Lapland.

Day 06: LULEÅ, JOKKMOKK, KIRUNA
Journey north to Jokkmokk, historic gathering place of the Sámi.
Guided visit at Ájtte Sámi Museum to learn traditions and Arctic lifeways.
Be My Guest: Traditional Sámi meal in a lavvu (tepee) with a reindeer-herding family.
Continue to Kiruna for overnight.

Day 07: KIRUNA
Free day to discover Kiruna, a mining town being relocated due to its expanding iron mine.
